Thank you all for your well wishes, calls, emails, comments, etc! I had a great day. I took the afternoon off work and went shopping with Mallory, then to dinner at Chilis - my favorite.
I am twenty six years old and it is a difficult thing to shop for clothing for a 26 year old. I mean, the cute teeny-bopper stores are a little too young (although I still love the look!) but I'm not quite old enough to start the Misses section. Luckily I had Mallory there to tell me "You're too old for that" or "yeah, that works."
But I may have broken the teeny-bopper rule - see exhibit A. My new shoes. Not only have I finally given in to the flat canvas boat-shoe look, but please examine the picture to your right a little closer. Comment if you can tell what the pattern of the shoes is. I didn't choose it on purpose, but it was all they had. And they fit so great i just couldn't pass it up.
Okay, here are some pictures from dinner tonight. As you can see, Adrie chews to death anything in sight - especially paper and cardboard. Opened a few presents, and then Mallory helped me pack some more - a perfect day!

You look SUPER cute in that first pic of you, Adrie, and MalPal. KUdos! And I wish wish wish I could have been at Chili's with you. They don't sell our soup in this town... argh.
I am glad that your baby likes me. I loved living with you! Hopefully you will not be moving next time I come here.
