Surgery #4

So we made our trek to the hospital. AGAIN.

At Six Months, at Ten Months, at Eighteen Months. (Surgery #3 was ear tubes. No pics).

This time she got an IV in her arm instead of her foot.
Our before & after pics:
Here's the lollipop that kept her happy on the car ride home. Sugar is miraculous.

And here we are, out playing with the cat the day after surgery. No tylenol even given day 2 - she is a miraculous recoverer!

She has been happy as a clam at home, and is LOVING sleeping in her baby car seat (so she's propped up.) In the mornings - after being in one spot for twelve hours! - she doesn't want to leave and insists on climbing right back in and drinking her morning bottle right in that seat. She then spends 20 minutes putting her dolls/bears in, then getting mad they're taking her seat and pushing them out so she can crawl back in. Rinse, repeat.

Keep in your prayers that this surgery does it, and we can avoid that hospital for awhile!!!

Wow! Her eye looks great! The difference between the before and after shot is very pronounced. Hopefully this will be the last one for the little trooper.

That picture with her little IV'd hand over yours is too precious.

Did you hear our move in date is the 24th of May? Just thought you might like to know... ;)

That picture of her hand on top of yours is by far the cutest picture you've ever taken. It's adorable! Her eye looks so good.

She is so sweet! What a trooper! I was cracking up over the putting the dolls in her seat, than getting mad. She's funny!

So, I know I must be out of the loop, but has she had to have multiple surgeries because the previous ones haven't worked out, or because that's the normal way to do it? She sure is a cutie -- even after surgery! I'm glad she's feeling better so soon! :)

What a trooper, it always amazes me how resiliant kids are. Lucky for strong mom's as well. You'll be in our prayers that all has gone well. She is still so cute!

Alexa - redoing MOSTLY because the previous surgeries haven't gotten her visual access cleared. But that's not uncommon in one so young.

Wow! Tylenol for only 2 days? She does bounce back fast! That's certainly a blessing. And she looks great! Lots of prayers your way.

We really enjoyed having you over the other night! Were you proud of my 5, 10, 15 shadows on a few of my pictures?! :)

We'll put together our wardrobes just as you suggested...we're looking forward to our "practice photoshoot" with you.

P.S. Thanks for suggesting ROBERTS to get new glass for that frame. Was quick and easy!
