Facebook sold me out.
I have NEVER had a piece of genuine spam in my Gmail account (Yay Gmail! You are amazing!)
Until now.
The day after I sign up for Facebook.
I have had TWO offending messages now regarding male size and ecstasy.
I am so sad. I feel so violated. And I can't undo what's been done.
CURSE YOU FACEBOOK!!!

I've never gotten spam from facebook? Sad day for you.
Sad! Are you sure it's the F-book? I've never received anything either...
Either way, Gmail is SO smart I'm sure they'll fix the crack in their wall lickity-split!
The spam isn't FROM facebook, it just showed up the day after I let facebook have my email address. I'm counting it too big a coincidence to be just that.
Sorry about the spam -- did it go into your inbox or the spam folder? Have you ever heard about sneakemail.com? It allows you to create a bunch of fake e-mail addresses for your real one (like disguises), so you never have to give your real e-mail address to anyone ever again (if you don't want to). Plus, if you do start getting spam, you can tell who sold you out, and even get rid of the middleman address. I use it a lot, but I do still get spam in my spam box from e-mail-address-guessing robots. :)
