I made a tuna casserole yesterday.
Tuna Casserole! You know, the kind we would barf over as kids and sneak to the dog.
When life events are chaotic I lose my appetite and nothing sounds good.
But it's back. Oh my heavens my appetite is back. Point to prove it: Tuna Casserole. Need I say more? It was downright tasty.
Last night I made fajitas at 10:30. They just sounded so good.
I eat SO MUCH FOOD in a day - and at times it's all I can think about. Here are some of the things I crave regularly and can't escape the craving until I've tasted it:
La Puente Smothered Burrito with cheese and onions
Los Hermanos shredded beef chimichanga
Betos Supreme Nachos
Chalupa Supreme from Taco Bell
Queso cheese dip from Cafe Rio
Fajitas
Bean Dip w/ Cheese & Salsa
Scrambled Eggs with Cheese
- basically anything with salty protein, cheese, and sour cream -
Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies (must be warm)
Oreos and milk
I have taken Adrie to restaurants, drive thru's, and stores in our pajamas for cooking ingredients. I hit up dollar menus and otherwise save my money for FOOD instead of the usual clothes and home decor.
I am like a person obsessed. Food is soooooo good. Mmmmm.
What do YOU crave?

Pregnancy has made me crave hamburgers! I particularly like the jalepeno burger at Chili's and the burgers at In & Out.
And Oreos is the other big thing I've craved! (I decided I can't eat them, though, until post-pregnancy, because the one month I bought a package and ate them slowly I somehow gained way more weight than normal between appointments! haha)
But seriously, I feel the same way you do about food. And I don't think it's the pregnancy talking. Food is just wonderful!!
I'm the same way with appetite--it comes and goes according to how much stress I'm experiencing. And when it's on, look out! Looks like you go for Mexican, tho...I go for Italian. At least we'll never compete for the same food if there's ever a shortage! :) (Except warm choco chip oatmeal cookies...then you've got a fight on your hands!)
I am a big fan of food! I just made choc. chip cookies the other day, and they were yummy!
When I'm pregnant, which I am now, it's oreos and subway sandwiches. It sounds like you like mexican.:) I forgot about Betos but I loved the nachos there too when we were in Utah. :)I haven't seen an update on Adrie's eye surgery. From the pictures it looks like it was a success! Is that what you're feeling?
Oh oh oh uh oh, oh oh uh oh, oh oh uh oh, THE WHITE STUFF! O R E O S !!! ( I tried to put that to the New Kids On the Block "Right Stuff" did you hear it?)
MMMmmmmm. . . . . FOOD!!!
Since you like mexican, you should try the Chicken Green Chile Salad w/ Mango Salsa, at Bajio's. YUM!! need i say more?
Seriously, you're like half mexican. Weirdo.
It's fun reading what everyone else craves. And by the way, I'm glad your appetite is back.
Sounds like you're an Arizona girl at heart - or in the stomach!
I NEED chips and cheese - in any form. Cheddar melted on tortilla chips, chips dipped in Que Bueno, slices from a block of cheese... As long as I have the correct mixture of chips & cheese in my mouth, I'm in heaven! Oh, and peanut butter cookies.
MMMmmm I would kill for a smothered burrito right now!
Mmmm thank you to all for increasing my appetite and sharing your cravings. Aunt Erin, I do crave Olive Garden often, particularly their amazing salad.
To all:
I broke things up a little this week by purchasing MINT oreos for a change; but seeing as they were 2 for 5 I had to purchase a pack of double stuffs also. All this talk of Oreos has only encouraged that beast.
Oh I'm DYING on this Fast Sunday...
I crave peanut butter cookies and chocolate revel bars (oatmeal cookie on the bottom and then chocolate chips mixed with sweetened condensed milk smothered on top then drops of oatmeal cookie on top..yum!) Also, chips and salsa.
On the mexican note, I remember when we were in Beehives and you were spotlighted for something, I don't remember what but your mom said that you liked mexican food. So they gave you a little jar of pace picante salsa. During the lesson you ate the entire thing just plain. I thought you were so weird...little did I know, just kidding! Funny the things that we remember!
