Keeping a very hungry baby happy in the waiting room at 6:30 am (mostly I just like how cut my arms look in this pic :)
The nurses gave her a bear, which she loved.
When she will actually sit on your lap (rare!), she has this cute habit of picking at my fingernails with hers. I never got a newborn pic of her finger in mine so I guess this is as close as I'll get!
She was pretty agitated for awhile from the anesthesia wearing off. Finally she settled down to watch cartoons and eat something.
After having a full tummy she reached out to give me a big hug - melted my heart!

Oh Lainey, I'm so sorry. How stressful. I'll keep her (and you & Kurt!) in my prayers.
She looks amazingly adorable for having had surgery. I like the little jumpsuit instead of a full gown this time.

Kino had surgery today, too. No stairs, no walks beyond a leased walk to the backyard for a bathroom break for 10 days and a big white collar!

Everytime I see a new picture of Adrie i swear she is cuter! Either you have really good photoshop skills of your baby is exceptionally prettier than every other baby.

I'm glad the surgery went well. What a stressful time it must have been! She has been through a lot in her first year of life. I love the picture of you and Adrie hugging.
