* She still destroys my bathroom when we get ready in the mornings. To the right is a picture of this weekend's mess:
* I finally have a name! Instead of "Mom" or "Ma", it's an excited and fast "MaMA, MaMA!" Always said twice, always with the emphasis on the last syllable. I LOVE to hear it.
* When it's time for a diaper change she (ususally) lays right down, legs spread out, and even holds still when I say "I'll be right back" and leave to get powder or something.
* Just yesterday she started going up on tiptoe. It is so darling to watch her rise up on her toes and hold that pose. At other times she tip toes around a few steps at a time.

* Her dancing has expanded to include her arms! Sometimes up over her head like a ballerina, other times just moving in the air, but overall her dancing is full-body now. She dances to most music, and surprisingly on beat, too.
* New word - "Whoa." This cropped up during church today, and everything I pulled out of the toy bag warranted a loud "Whoa" of appreciation. People within three benches of us were laughing.
* New sound - she grunts in her throat like a little pig. It's like the sound of most people clearing their throats. SO funny! Anyone who hears it can hardly believe it. Her other funny animal sounds include a cow - "Bhooo" and a cat - "Wahhh?" Both sounds mimic the actual way the cow/cat make their noises, not the typical "moo" and "meow" that books & parents teach.

* Old Navy had a huge baby/kid sale this week that I just couldn't resist. This sweater (pink one in picture) was my favorite purchase. She looks so grown up!
* She says "No" with more voices, inflections, and facial expressions than I ever knew possible. The funniest is with a furrowed brow and pursed lips , slow and drawn out - "Nooooo" (usually accompanied by a shaking head.) A cute one - when you hand her something she doesn't want and she'll say sweetly "No!" like, "How could you possibly think that I wanted that?" When another kid tries to take something from her it's "Nonononononono" while clutching the item to her chest. We work SO hard on saying "Yeah!" but the most I can force her to do is nod. She will do that emphatically when she reeeeally wants something.
Today was Kevin's farewell. (Here's Adrie being a real sweetheart for their last picture together). He departs next week for the New Hampshire Manchester mission. He looked so studly in his new glasses, new suit, and his farewell talk was hands down the best mission farewell talk I have ever heard. He spoke for thirty straight minutes from a carefully prepared, well-researched talk. His topic? Procrastination. When did he write the talk? 4 am today. But it was great. I am uber proud of him and will miss him terribly.
Last note - isn't my sis-in-law Holly gorgeous? I just couldn't stop snapping candids of her today. What a pretty girl! She works full time and attends cosmetology school full time. What a beauty. If any of you want fun, discounted services go visit the American Beauty Academy in Payson.

Adrie really is cute. You guys sure did a good job baking that one.
Her bathroom messing skills shows her creativity!
16-month-olds are a one man wrecking crew! I NEED to see that little princess!
Its my favorite when Adrie dances! I can't believe she does it with arms now. I want to see! Love you.
Adrie is so big, it's been forever since the family reunion. What a doll. I have a two year old that also destroys my bathroom when I get ready, only her messes are a little more organized. She'll get out all my nail polish and line them up on the floor, then proceed to Todd's change dish and line up all the pennies. It was great to see your pic's and will visit often to see more. Wish you well.
Love Tiffany
