I had a great blog planned for tonight but am now tired and past my computer curfew. We had a 'dress rehearsal' of Halloween by attending an elementary school carnival so Adrie could see other kids in costume and finally "get" it.
Whenever she gets her wings on she begs beautifully "Fly?" It's heartbreaking to try to explain to her that these wings won't really make her fly, so instead I pick her up and do a weak-mom Superman version around the room.

I can't get Madilyn to wear a costume to save my life! She's totally freaked out by Halloween. We carved pumpkins last night, and once the faces were carved, she was heading for the hills. My little fraidy cat.
