I'm not sure how to answer when people ask "How was it?" I usually settle for a simple "It was amazing." But so many words describe my 10 days abroad - Beautiful. Exhausting. Peaceful. Eye opening. Thought provoking. Breathtaking. Soaking it in because pictures will never capture it. Enjoying family immensely. Laughing. Did I mention exhausting? A priceless experience.
There are such an overwhelming number of pictures to post and things to say. And I'm waiting on the other half of my pictures from Nat. She had the point-and-shoot, I had the artistic camera. Together, we equal roughly 600 pictures. I'm thinking I'll do the days in reverse order, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, here's one cool photo of the alleyways I was head over heels in love with everywhere I looked. Natalie surely got bored of me saying "Look! Oh! Look at that one!"

While you're waiting for the daily blow-by-blow with photos, I'll summarize my amazing purchases for you on this cruise. Again, I was struck by how much vacation to me equals shopping and food. I feel sort of worldly and high maintenance admitting this... granted, it's not all I look forward to... but I do enjoy it more than I feel like I should :)

You'll love that Jihaad scarf I promise. Sounds amazing! Man my senior pictures would have looked great in an alley like that.
Jealous! jealous jealous jealous jealous!!!
I'm so happy for you that you were able to take an amazing trip like that!! That is so awesome. I can't wait to see more pictures. I found out that we don't leave until the end of January now, but I for sure will miss you and Adrie too!
PS -- I never got sick of you saying how cute the alleys were. Wish you could have seen the ones in Paris!
Sigh. I started weeding through my photos, it IS overwhelming.
How artistic all your clothes are! Mine are still sitting in my backpack, wrinkled and waiting to be unpacked.
Exactly how travel should be--filled with food and shopping. You know how to do it. :)
Your dad's partner asked him what we were going to DO while we were in Boston. Kent's immediate thought was...eat and shop. Didn't think that sounded so good! but it's what we are so darn good at! ...and what a family of girls do best!...shop. (Caswell's is for your Dad)
Loved your pictures! Having been to Europe, your eyes are open to the world in a new way...Happy memories! XOX
