I remember reading that when you kid asks you to kiss it and make it better, it actually does help. The touch releases some kind of chemical (endorphins, perhaps?) that facilitate pain relief. But, wow, her tongue? LOL!
I admit I've kissed an owwie tongue before... *shudder*...
There's ALMOST no limit to where I'll kiss an owwie... Almost. Yes I have been asked to kiss THAT part by my son. Uhh... sorry boy. You're gonna have to grit your teeth and bear it.
